London = grand

So lads, and any laddettes reading this post, this weekend i have spent in London, and i was more amazed than i thought id be about this most recent trip, the last one being quite a few years back, barring a couple of trips to the airport. One fact overall has come from the trip though. I must return.

Primarily it was a trip for my sisters 16th birthday to the theatre to see Les Miserables. Ill get to that later, but it was a sightseeing tour as well, and boy did i sightsee. Couple of places friday evening, including Covent Garden and the Royal Opera house and then on saturday Oxford Street and all its finest shops, Leicester Square, Knightsbridge, the Natural History Museum, Harrods, with a particualrly amazing Rock exhibition on the second floor, with guitars from the collections of Keith Richards, the men of Status Quo, and many more - there was a full sized model of nearly every variety of guitar ever produced in there. Then St. James' Park, Whitehall, Downing Street (no appearence by Blair unfortunatly) and Westminster. Then in the evening we toured the absolutly packed Picadilly and China Town, with the impending chinese new year, ate and saw the production. Which, and i am not a fan of the theatre greatly, was very very good indeed.

This morning we toured a few more spots, including St. Pauls and the LSE before heading home. I cannot wait to return, hopefully organising a small group of us to go in the next couple of weeks. I seriously hope i get to live there when im older. And i returned with Phone and Wallet intact, a good trip by London's current standards.

Laters baby,
Jon

You know, London's slogan should be:
'London: It's quite cool, and you are less likely to get shot than you would be in, say, Rio.'

Yeah, me neither. But fish and potatoes are fine, as long as they are not combined in a single entity.

Quite. Throw in a bit of veg with the fish and potatoes and you have a fine dish.

"Veg and fish,
It's quite a dish
Have some now,
Not as good as cow
But good for the Brain
eat it on the train
Only virgin that is,
Because First Great Western SUCKS!"
